Laut Katalog passt er über mehrere Baureihen: MINI F55 (5-Türer), MINI F56 (3-Türer, auch BEV) und MINI Cabrio F57 (auch BEV), jeweils Vor- und Facelift, verbaut ab 12/2013 über die gesamte Bauzeit. Er ersetzt die ältere Nummer 51459281561. Unabhängig vom Head-Up-Display: BMW führt dieselbe Nummer mit und ohne MINI Head-Up-Display (SA S6ADA), der Träger passt also in beiden Fällen.
