Shipping, delivery and collection in store

We sell used original parts, mostly one of a kind. Every part is dispatched from our warehouse at Zeilharder Straße 31, 64409 Messel, Germany, and can also be collected there.

Opening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 09:00–17:00. Closed on Wednesdays and on public holidays in Hesse, Germany.

Cost: collection is free of charge.

When can I collect? Items shown as available in our store are usually ready to collect within 24 hours of your order being confirmed. You will receive an email as soon as the part is ready, and we ask you to wait for that email before travelling to us. Please bring your order confirmation and a form of identification.

You are welcome to walk in during opening hours without ordering first. Parts on display in the store can be inspected, bought on site and taken with you immediately.

Dispatch time

We dispatch within 1–2 working days of receiving payment. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Hesse, Germany.

Delivery times

The following are non-binding estimates for the time after dispatch. They are not guaranteed dates; carriers and customs authorities are outside our control.

Large or heavy parts – bumpers, tailgates, engines, gearboxes – are sent by forwarder and may take longer. We contact you to agree a delivery date for those.

Shipping costs

Shipping is priced per item, because the parts differ enormously in size and weight. The exact cost for your destination is shown in the basket and at checkout before you pay, and never changes afterwards.

Within Germany most parts are shipped free of charge. Large and heavy parts carry a surcharge, currently between €15 and €120 depending on the item.
International shipping ranges from free to €300, again depending on the part and the destination.
Collection in our store is always free.

We ship with DHL Paket and Deutsche Post Warenpost; oversized items go by forwarder.

Where we ship

We deliver to Germany, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the rest of Europe. Many items are also sent worldwide.

Not every part can be sent everywhere. Some parts are restricted to certain regions because of their size or the carrier we use for them. The destinations available for a particular part are shown at checkout: if no shipping method appears for your country, we cannot currently send that item there. Please contact us and we will tell you whether an alternative is possible.

Customs duties and import taxes outside the EU

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import VAT and any handling charges are payable by the recipient and are not included in our prices or shipping costs. The amounts are set by the destination country, not by us. Please check with your local customs authority before ordering if you are unsure.

Damage in transit

Please check the parcel on arrival. If it is visibly damaged, note this with the carrier where possible and contact us at info@oc-germany.com with photographs. This does not restrict your statutory rights in any way.
